Layemi is a corporate lawyer with up to 12 years of experience working in the oil and gas sector. He is a graduate of the University of Buckingham and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from Staffordshire University.
Layemi gained years of experience working as a Relationship Manager in the Sales & Marketing department of Axxela Limited, and was primarily responsible for establishing and developing proactive relationships with clients such as BUA Group, Flour Mills of Nigeria Limited, Chi Limited, Cadbury etc.
Layemi is also a governance expert having worked at the highest level providing corporate secretarial and compliance services to the boards of Oando Plc and its subsidiaries. He has been involved in transactions such as the development and sale of Alausa & Akute IPPs respectively as well as the restructuring and sale of Oando Gas & Power.
Layemi’s a wealth of experience in Oil & Gas industry dynamics cuts across both commercial and corporate governance aspects. He is highly resourceful with an aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving.
